Waltham Forest Local Plan Part 2 (LP2) 2024​

Regeneration is a key priority for CRA members so when we heard about the Waltham Forest Local Plan Part 2 (LP2) 2024, we tried to raise awareness to encourage as many local residents as possible to respond to the consultation.

We created a mini website and posters with key information, including technical points that needed to be referred to when making a representation and also the different ways to submit.

In addition, we held three drop-in sessions at different locations in Chingford to try to reach as many people as possible.

The CRA also applied pressure to our councillors to have a public meeting so that people could ask questions and receive guidance from council officers. The meeting took place four days before the deadline.
